The question of whether—and to what extent—European funds have helped finance terrorism against Israel remains unanswered. Moritz Körner (35, FDP), a German member of the European Parliament, wants to force the agency headed by Ursula von der Leyen to release all “Gaza files,” including bank statements (...) There is a striking absurdity in the EU’s statements: The Commission claims that not a single cent went to Hamas. At the same time, it admits that it cannot quantify what proportion of the aid actually reached the Gaza Strip and was not funneled into "dark chanals" (response to a parliamentary question dated March 25, 2026, as quoted by the German newspaper Bild). Only the total amount of European Unions's aid to the Palestinians from 2006 to 2023 is known: rund 6 billion euros. All gone with the wind...

Immer noch unbeantwortet ist die Frage, ob und wieviel europäisches Geld den Terror gegen Israel mitfinanziert hat. Der EU-Abgeordnete Moritz Körner (35, FDP) will die Behörde um Ursula von der Leyen zur Freigabe aller „Gaza-Akten“  samt Bankbelegen zwingen (...)  Auffallende Absurdität der EU-statements: Die Kommission behauptet, es sei kein Cent an die Hamas geflossen. Gleichzeitig gesteht sie ein, nicht beziffern zu können, welcher Anteil der Hilfsmittel überhaupt in den Gazastreifen gelangt ist und nicht in "dunkle Kanäle" geleitet wurde (Antwort auf eine parlamentarische Anfrage vom 25. März 2026 zitiert von der deutschen Bild-Zeitung). Bekannt ist lediglich die Gesamtsumme der EU-Palästinenserhilfen von 2006 bis 2023 ist bekannt: about 6 Milliarden Euro.
